With centralisation of assessments for SSTs there have been an increasing number of unsatisfactory outcomes and it has become clear that acquiring and linking evidence of progress through the curriculum to the eportfolio shows great variability from programme to programme due to trainee, trainer and centre factors.

The aim of the day is to address issues surrounding the increasing complexity of supporting trainees successfully through their SST programmes and to update STPSs on how to approach these assessments with their SSTs in order to reduce the chances of an unsatisfactory outcome.
