Nurses
The BGCS Nursing Sub Group is a forum for all gynae-oncology clinical nurse specialists and those working with gynae-oncology patients, whether on wards or allied health professionals, to network and share best practice and up to date guidance in this rapidly-changing field of women’s health.
The group provides an excellent opportunity to connect with colleagues nationally, as well as providing support to those new to the field of gynae-oncology.
The group is represented on the BGCS Council as well as working closely with all national gynaecological cancer charities. These charities provide much needed support and information to both women and their families, as well as raising awareness of cancers which are both distressing and, at times, neglected.
The group is represented at the BGCS Annual Conference. The team aim to bring a lively agenda each year to provoke thought and dialogue.
