Benefits of Membership

Membership of the Society means joining a community of diverse professionals who share common goals and interests and wish to further their knowledge of and participation in gynaecological oncology.

The Society runs two important meetings each year one a single day event and the other a larger two day meeting. These are important events for continued professional development and afford unique opportunities for a wider interdisciplinary dialogue. Members will receive advance notification of meetings and their content and through the website be able to reserve places at these meetings. Members will also be able to access the web site forum and take part in discussion and debate relating to topical or difficult issues in gynaecological cancer. The Society is becoming increasingly involved in consultation and dialogue and relies heavily on its membership to formulate a “group professional opinion”, membership allows you to engage in these debates and help shape the future of gynaecological cancer in the UK.

Members will also be able to contact colleagues via the website and can use the BGCS internet facility to promote their own oncology related meetings.

Joining the British Gynaecological Cancer Society gives you the opportunity to help develop Gynaecological Cancer services, research and knowledge base in the future.
