Membership Information
The BGCS welcomes applications to join the society from all healthcare professionals with an interest in gynaecological oncology. Membership of the society is recommended for all gynaecological oncology sub-specialist trainees, unit leads and consultants working in the cancer centres.
It is recommended that prospective members attend at least one meeting of the society as a guest before being proposed for membership. Applicants need to be proposed and seconded for membership by current members of the society. The cost of membership is £50 per annum, payable on application of your membership and then on 1st January in subsequent years (by standing order).
To apply for membership please follow the instructions below:
- Read the society's constitution BGCS Constitution.pdf.
- Fill out the short online form to register your interest in joining.
- Download and complete the membership form New Member BGCS 2011 v01.doc and the standing order form Membership standing order BGCS v01.doc.
- Post the completed forms along with two letters of support from current members of the society (who should also sign the membership form), a copy of your CV showing evidence of commitment to gynaecological oncology and a cheque for £50 made payable to BGCS to:

Membership requests will be considered on a twice yearly basis at the BGCS council meetings.
